Dr. Keith Pitchford is retiring and closing Great Lakes Orthopedics & Sports Medicine. He wants every patient to feel informed and supported through this transition, so here is everything you need to know about ongoing care, upcoming appointments, and how to reach us:
What This Means for New Patients
Dr. Pitchford will continue to accept new patients through May 29, 2026. He has allowed plenty of time to see new patients, complete an assessment, and guide them through their treatment before he retires. He is committed to seeing every patient through their care from start to finish, so if you have been considering scheduling an appointment, we encourage you to reach out before May 29.
What This Means for Current Patients
Dr. Pitchford is committed to seeing his current patients through their care. Here is what you can expect:
Surgeries will continue to be scheduled through the end of June. If you have an upcoming procedure, your care will not be disrupted.
Follow-up appointments will remain available through the fall. Dr. Pitchford will be here to see you through your full recovery.
Our Office Remains Open
The office will stay open and fully staffed throughout the summer and into the fall to support your needs, including:
- Medical records requests
- Prescription refills
- Medical forms and paperwork
