Ultrasound Guided Injections
On-site ultrasound guided procedures are available at both our St John and Lowell locations to provide the latest technology assisted patient care. Ultrasound guided procedures currently included platelet rich plasma injections (PRP), multiple types of injections for patients with Osteoarthritis, cortisone injections, and also therapeutic/diagnostic imaging of injured areas of the body such as shoulders, elbows, and knees.
Two of the ultrasound guided procedures now available at Great Lakes Orthopedics & Sports Medicine are Hylauronate injections of the knee as well as platelet rich plasma (PRP) injections of identified joints and or muscle/tendon locations to reduce pain and assist in the healing process.
