Dr. Cynthia Lembcke Grundy, Podiatrist
Intelligent,
intuitive, and energetic Dr. Grundy takes an involved
approach to the treatment of her patients. After graduating
from Dr. William Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago,
Illinois, she completed a two-year surgical residency program
at St. Mary Medical Center in Hobart, Indiana. Dr. Grundy
has been practicing in Northwest Indiana since 2002. She is
the podiatric physician at Great Lakes Orthopedics & Sports
Medicine.
As a podiatric surgeon, Dr. Grundy maintains
a private practice in Crown Point, St. John and Valparaiso
and currently serves as a wound care specialist for foot and
ankle wounds with Methodist Hospital and Porter Memorial Hospital
Out-Patient Wound Clinics.
Dr. Grundy is dual Board Certified in Foot and Ankle Surgery
as well as Rear Foot Reconstructive Surgery by the American
Board of Podiatric Surgery. Dr. Grundy is also a member of
the American Association of Podiatric Medicine.
Dr. Grundy provides comprehensive foot and
ankle care for patients of all ages. Her special interests
include womens health and diabetic foot care. She is
actively involved in patient education, providing foot screenings
and community health informational lectures.
Outside of her passion for podiatry, Dr. Grundy enjoys traveling,
reading, and real estate ventures.
