With the size of his practice growing rapidly, Dr. Pitchford realized that to better serve his beloved community, additional qualified and caring physicians were necessary. However, these could not be just any physicians, he wanted them to embrace the region and it’s people as he did.
In 2006, Dr. Pitchford was proud to announce the relocation of the Dyer, Indiana clinic to the new corporate headquarters of Great Lakes Orthopedics & Sports Medicine, P.C. in their state-of-the-art facility which is more centrally located in St. John, IN. The Great Lakes Orthopedics & Sports Medicine building which stands at 9615 Keilman St, in St. John, Indiana houses the corporation’s main office, billing department, 11 exam rooms, digital x-ray department, ultrasound guided procedures, physical and occupational therapy departments as well as it’s new work conditioning program.
Having all of these complementary and synergic services under one roof with a focused shared vision to return the patient to their fullest state of health while providing convenience for the patient, brings to life another dimension of the philosophy of Great Lakes Orthopedics & Sports Medicine, P.C. which is to serve the greater Northwest Indiana region.
Timothy B. Williams, Physician Assistant, joined GLO on October 15, 2012.
To offer complementary patient care options, Dr. Natasha Mandula, Podiatrist, joined the group in August of 2014.
The addition of Primary Care Orthopedics further expands the ability of Great Lakes Orthopedics & Sports Medicine to meet the needs of an ever expanding patient base.
